Medical high school Pula
Medical high school was founded in 1956 in Pula and it was situated in the area of Pula General Hospital, in the building of the former surgical department. In 2022 the school was relocated to a newly constructed building at the address Rižanske skupštine 2 and it is the most modern secondary school in the Republic of Croatia.
There are four fields of study in our school:
- medical nurse/medical technician
- physiotherapy technician (m/f)
- dental technician (m/f)
- health-laboratory technician (m/f)
From 2017 to 2022, two generations of the midwife assistant program (m/f) were educated at Pula Medical High School. The school has 415 students divided in 18 classes and it has around 60 employees. The main teaching programmes have always been based on practical work in Pula General Hospital. We successfully cooperate with various health institutions in Istria County and are always open to new collaborations with domestic and foreign institutions.
The school has participated in several EU projects and is continuing to do so.
